I finally settled on this new theme from Blogger Templates. This template is called Charcoal Blogger Template with 3-columns.
The template is actually a remake of the original Wordpress Theme by Jinsona. Originally it was a wp theme by Jinsona which was then translated for use by blogspot users. Thanks to Kranthi of Blogger Tricks and best of all, it's totally free.
